Über die Universität:
I studied the IBEX programme in Rotterdam, which is practically oriented. Half of the class were Dutch students who chose to spend one semester in the international environment. Another half of the participants are exchange students from many different countries. You may choose electives such as Cross Cultural Communication, The Long Tail, Stock Market Game, Elementary Dutch and Financial Accounting. Here I would recommend Elementary Dutch and Stock Market Game. I did not like the Long Tail that much, even though it is an easy one.
The Dutch system of grading is a bit different than in Germany and therefore it is pretty difficult to get the best grades.
Betreuung vor Ort:
I lived in one of the dormitories offered by the Hogeschool Rotterdam. I lived in Robertbaeldehall and this is the worst option I think. So better decide for another dorm if you have the option. The dormitories in Germany are much nicer than those in Rotterdam.
The International Office is not that active as in Deggendorf, therefore you need to take care of almost everything yourself.
