Über die Universität:
INSEEC Business School is a prestigious French graduate school and is a part of Groupe INSEEC. It is a private university, situated in the middle of Paris. The campus has a cafeteria under a glass roof and a library where you can also find all the newspapers.
At the first sight it seemed that I had 5 courses --> 25 ECTS, however what I did not know is that those 5 ECTS are splitted again into 3 subcourses, so in the end I had 15 courses. However they do not take place every week and there is still enough time to visit Paris. Also through the fact that 3 different courses make up the grade for the 5 ECTS helps when you mess up one course.
The staff is quite competent and give mostly interesting courses, of course there is always some in which you learn less. And sometimes it is difficult to communicate with the staff in English. This was not such a problem for me as my French is quite adequate, however for someone who doesn't speak any French at all, it can be difficult at times.

Betreuung vor Ort:
Actually the University has a cooperation with a French net provider for getting a French number which was quite helpful, and also they have a portal where there are also offers concerning accommodation. However I already had a flat when they were forwarding us the link to that portal. Therefore I had to organize myself the accommodation and transportation of course as well. To be honest, my accommodation was really not the best and I could have spent no more than 4 months in there. But this is just normal in Paris… horrible flats rented out for a way too high amount of money.

Tipps:
There are many people taking the English track and for those who did that, they rarely got to know French people and barely spoke any French. Hence I would recommend to all those who really want to learn French to take the French track. My French was also not super at all and I managed and can say now that it improved tremendously, I also managed to get through the courses quite well.
