summersemester 2017

Über die Universität:
The university is beautiful. It offers everything you could imagine, from special offices for every problem you might have, a huge cafeteria, a sports hall, a free gym, different spots to buy some food and even a small shop on campus for school equipment.
Unfortunately I had to change nearly all my courses after I arrived because they didn't take place the way they stated it on their website. Nevertheless in the end I was extremly happy with my courses. Due to the fact that I took mainly Marketing courses they put me in the Marketing study course, but that was perfectly fine. Exams are not that hard, especially if you take into account that I had courses from year 4, so their final semester.

Betreuung vor Ort:
I got a spot in Edenhall, which was awful. Their is carpet in all rooms exept the kitchen and the bathrooms. The furnishment was very often damaged and the responsible persons didn't care at all. Nevertheless, the good thing about Edenhall is that many Erasmus students live there, which is a lot of fun and helpful to make yourself a home there.
If I had to choose again I would choose Edenhall again, even though it is really bad. But what I heard from other students who had different accommodations, it was also really bad or even worse.

Tipps:
I recommend to get yourself a Leap Card which will save you alot of money because you have to go everywhere by bus.
The trips of the International Student Society are amazing. You get to see alot of Ireland with amazing people for less money than you would pay if you would go all alone and you don't have to organize anything.
